Don't Forget the Lyrics is an awesome game show that was originally shown in June of 2007 on FOX. This game show made the contestants compete for a wonderful price of a million dollars. Needless to say, many people would love to have the chance to win something like this. The show was hosted by Wayne Brady and is said to have Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath as the host in 2010. This was a great show when I originally first saw it on my direct tv promotions in Orlando, and I am sure it will be a great show when I see it again.
The goal of this show is to challenge the contestant to continue singing song lyrics. When a contestant sings the lyric right, they continue. After each round the contestant is allowed to both continue on and risk the money they earned, or stop and take home the money they already won. This is great because sometimes it is better to stop when you know you have money, then to continue to risk losing it all. However, some people are in it for the fun and will risk everything to keep going! My favorite part of this show is simply watching people sing and try to get lyrics right. It doesn't matter if they sing well, just that they sing right.
The prizes available for this show are double almost every time starting at 2,500 and ending at a staggering one million dollars!
